Our pricing options are designed to accommodate different user needs. With the API Only plan, you get access exclusively to the API without features like bulk background removal. On the other hand, the Bundle Option includes unlimited background removal at backgroundcut.co/upload , where you can remove as many backgrounds as you wish (one image at a time), bulk removal feature available at backgroundcut.co/bulk as well as access to the API credits all in a single subscription.
Each API credit allows removal of one background from an image via an API call. So, if you have 1000 API credits, you'll be able to remove backgrounds from 1000 images. Please note that multiple API calls for the same image will consume multiple credits.
API credits are valid for 60 days from the date of addition. If not used within the validity period, the credits will expire and will no longer be available for use.
The API Only plan is ideal if you require plugin access but do not plan to use the BackgroundCut website's background remover or bulk removal feature.
Absolutely, you can choose to subscribe for just one month if you don't require our services in the subsequent months. However, it's important to remember that you'll need to manually cancel your subscription to prevent it from renewing automatically and being charged for the next month.
To manage your subscription, please follow these steps:
1. Go to your Dashboard. (https://backgroundcut.co/dashboard/)
2. Click on 'Payment & Billing' and then 'Manage Subscription'.
3. Here, you can view your current subscription and have the option to manage/cancel your subscription.
When you subscribe to one of our plans, you receive a set number of API image credits each month. If your account runs out of credits, you can't remove backgrounds using the API until your next billing cycle begins or until you purchase additional credits.
Here's a detailed example to explain further:
Let's say you've chosen our monthly plan that provides 5000 API image credits for $75, starting on January 2nd. On that day, your card is charged $75, and your account is immediately credited with 5000 API image credits. These credits will be replenished on the 2nd of every subsequent month, following the same process.
Now, if you run out of these credits by January 20th and you need 5000 more, there's a convenient solution. You can start an additional subscription for another 5000 credits at the same price of $75. When you do this, your account gets the extra credits right away, which allows you to continue your work without interruption. Moreover, you will now have a new billing cycle that begins on January 20th, meaning that an additional 5000 credits will be added to your account on the 20th of each month for as long as you maintain the subscription.
After adding the second subscription, your billing will be as follows:
1. The first $75 charge on the 2nd for your initial 5000 credits.
2. A second $75 charge on the 20th for the additional 5000 credits you purchased.
In total, you'll pay $150 and receive 10000 API credits each month—5000 on the 2nd and another 5000 on the 20th.
This multiple active subscription model offers flexibility and ensures that you have access to more credits whenever you need them without having to wait for your next billing date. Remember, we send email alerts before your credits run low, so you have ample notice to decide whether to buy more.
If you regularly need extra credits, it might be worth considering a larger plan. This can be more convenient and potentially more cost-effective than managing multiple subscriptions.
Yes, we do accept PayPal for payments, but there are some important details to keep in mind:
1. Manual PayPal Payments: We only accept manual PayPal payments.
2. Pricing: Please note that PayPal payments are priced 20% higher than regular subscription payments. For example, if your subscription fee is $30, it would cost $36 when paid through PayPal.
3. Payment Processing Time: PayPal payments can take up to 48 hours to reflect in your account. This is because we manually activate your account and generate an invoice for the transaction.
4. Payment Process: To make PayPal payment, please use the following link: PayPal Payment Link. After making the payment, kindly email us with the details of the subscription you would like to activate in your account.
5. Activation Timeline: Please be patient as it may take up to 48 hours for our team to manually activate your account and raise an invoice.
